Admissions Process

The admissions process is simple and transparent.  Students are welcome to join us at any time during the academic year.  Please see the following steps:

Step 1: Initial enquiry.  Please feel free to contact us to have an initial conversation regarding your son/daughter’s learning situation.

Step 2: Send documentation.  Although we are an academically non-selective international college, admission is responsive to good reports from previous international schools, the appropriate level of spoken and written English language and a genuine commitment to progressively develop and learn.

Step 3: Formal meeting.  A meeting between the Director and student and all concerned stakeholders will be arranged to discuss previous learning, interests and ambitions.  This in conjunction to sitting baseline assessments where appropriate to establish the most suitable academic pathway plan.

In cases where the level of spoken/written English language might not be at the appropriate age expectation and additional learning support will be required, a realistic action plan will be considered.

Step 4: Enrollment fees and college agreement.  Once a study pathway has been agreed, enrollment fees will be required to be paid and a college agreement signed before students are registered at iCollege Barcelona.
